Photoessay: Paris in Spring

Oh, Paris. I didn’t have the most wonderful time. It took me three tries to find a croissant worthy of bragging about. I spent more time lost than found, and not in the good way. And maybe worth mentioning is the borderline dangerous fever I had for a few days while there.Β It all worked out in the end, though; I got some beautiful photographs and much-needed antibiotics in Germany the following week.

I’ve been playing around with isolating select colors in Photoshop, so these photographs are a little different from the usual.

  1. Cool photos! The bakery picture has me drooling. Sorry you didn’t enjoy Paris all that much, but being sick can really put a damper on things. Maybe in the future if you visit again you’ll have a different experience. πŸ™‚

    1. It definitely can mess up a few plans… thankfully I had some recovery time in Germany, though I didn’t get to see as much of the country then as I wanted. But next time. And maybe a second round in Paris. πŸ™‚
